About Me
Hi, I'm Amy — a current Master student at UC Berkeley studying data science at the School of Information!
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology at UC Berkeley as well. During my undergraduate years, I was a Research Associate at UCSF, a Fung Fellow, and a Project Manager for Together Educating All Children in Hospitals (TEACH) Berkeley chapter.
As a former wet-lab research turned data scientist and product person, I understand the underlying mechanisms of biological systems in data-driven health research. This knowledge combined with multiple years of experience working with hospitals and health systems has given me unique insights into the product lifecycle of health-related services.
At the end of the day, my goal is to build products with the patients in mind — creating optimized experiences in healthcare that ease pain points and bring joy.
